Wizard Village is a potion crafting roguelike where you manage a potion brewery shop. Manage your inventory and find the right combination to cure your customer from shadow curses !

Disclaimer :

I originally intended to end the game after day5 (after a hard week of work) but didn't had time to finish the game as I went on vacations so it currently breaks on day 6

The webgl build created a strange scritch in the theme audio :(

I'll handle those concerns in a few weeks, in the mean time, please enjoy the game :)

Cool straight forward implementation of the theme, nice art style, catchy shop music, interesting puzzle  mechanic. I like <3
.. sad.. as you mentioned.. day 6.. no customers arrive ;(

Awesome game, great, consistent art style, fun mechanics, didn't quite understand the pentagon thing in the store, I just tried to buy everything every time, I assume the shop is telling you what you are lacking maybe? Overall very good work

Very cute and loved the sound effects, and the smug look on the shopkeeper's face haha. I didn't get it at first but once I did i thought it was well made and sytlistic!

I love this! I think this is a really clever extension of potion craft's mechanics- the prohibited ingredients and the gemstones add a cool element to the puzzle-solving and strategy and are really fun. The interface is also so reactive and satisfying to play with. I can't wait to play more of your games!

(+1)

I really liked the art style of this one!

(+1)

Not bad, I think its pretty fun.

(+1)

Really fun, I love it the music and sounds and design is so cool and unique, the game play is satisfying I love your characters :)

Really like the gameplay, but the tutorial dialog boxes threw me off. I don't know if that happens only in fullscreen, but the were in different sizes each time i clicked NEXT.

Idk if I'm a good guy by pointing out the mistakes or the bad guy by telling it 1 day before the game jam ends:

1. Idk if it's just me but the game doesn't progress after we lose all three hearts and it just stays where it is.

2. You can click on the score to change it, I don't think it's intentional but yeah.

3. English problem, In the rules bar it should say prohibited not prohibided.

It only took me a few minutes to find these but it's a pretty nice game for such a short deadline.

This is basically a demake of potion crafter, and it needs better UI. It is still a good game tho.

I personally had a great time playing your game, very reminiscent of Potion Craft. The only bug I came across, besides day 6, was the multiplier. There was a couple of times the bar showed I had the potion perfect, but still gave me a 3x multiplier. Just wanted to give you a heads up, and once again, amazing job with the game!

(+1)

Thanks for the head up! 🙂

It's  very good game i love it but it stopped working on day 6 and its just idk nothing was popping up and i had to restart :(

(+1)

Very nice game, so fun to play it! Great job aznoqmous!

(+1)

Art style, animation, sounds - all these things are simple, but together they make a great game with a pleasant atmosphere. A very cool and meditative experience! :) Although after day 6, the game broke down: I didn't have any customers :D

(+1)

Great visuals and interesting crafting. Great job!

Beautiful design and theming!

Somewhere in the music loop is a loud left channel blip

got stuck in day 6,how could flower type ingredients must be used  and be prohibited at the same time?

I intended to end the game at the end of day 5 but didn't had the time to make the victory screen so day 6 is basically bugged for now

(+1)

The crafting is really intuitive! plays well and looks great! Had a blast brewing up some potions :)

Also love the theme of the page!

(+1)

I had fun playing this game, thanks

Thank you for playing the game :)

(+2)

The game looks great, and I like the potion craft style alchemy in a simplified form. Only thing I didn’t like was some sound effect or part of the music track that had some kind of high pitch scratch that caused pain in my ears whenever it popped, and I couldn’t seem to find any settings to turn down the audio.

Sorry for that, the issue occurred only after building the project :(

(+2)

just wow!, the visuals and game play are both superb!

i just love how everything play out super smooth, great job!

(+1)

Maybe implement a timer, so days only last so long. This could put more pressure on the player to act quicker, perhaps giving it so more replay value? Just a thought.

Overall very well put together, great game!

Thanks for your suggestion! Unfortunately I had to stop development there for the jam, as I went on vacations so no features will be added before the jam ends :(

(+3)

Very cool! I love the art style, the UI is unique but clear, and it's very polished. It's super charming and fun to play. Having the ingredients move you towards different aspects was a great idea. I'd love to see this properly released :)

Thanks a lot! :)

Look and play nicely, unfortunately I get soft-locked on day 6

(+1)

Thanks for your feedback ! I originally intended to end the game at the end of day 5 (after a week of hard work) but didn't implemented the end screen

(+2)
