Is there a specific way you'd like for us to submit bug reports? Like via email or BlueSky DM etc? I've gotten an "index out of bounds" error twice and have the error report, but it's super lengthy. Love the game!
Unknown glitch makes turrets no longer shoot. This makes it no longer possible to make food due to no dunes being created, so you eventually will starve. Example below (no turrets will shoot, no dunes anymore, I was basically just stalling using stockpiled resources).
Clicking the center house will fast-forwards to night-time... HOWEVER IF YOU DO THIS WHILE BUILDING BY ACCIDENT, THE GAME GLITCHES OUT AND FREEZES INSTEAD!!!!!!
I really like this little game! Interesting concept and it's fun to play.
Some bugs and suggestions:
- Sometimes, if a building is a couple of items away from being built when night falls, the villagers will never finish building it. And as far as I can tell, there's no way to cancel construction or get rid of the unfinished building, so it just sits there taking up space unless it's destroyed by the storm.
- Turret projectiles are too slow. They rarely manage to hit anything.
- Gets really laggy in later rounds if you have lots of people or projectiles on the screen. On day 24 with 29 people, I was getting maybe 2-3 FPS (using the latest version of firefox).
- Becomes nearly impossible to lose in later days. The dunes build up faster than you can use them
Okay a little bit of a problem. I wanted to make a farm, for that I need water, my town had enough water already, so after finishing a pond it should go to the farm, but nope, instead it went into the main building. The game ended because all of my people starved because nobody finished the farm.
Unable to parse Build/Web-Jam.framework.js.gz! This can happen if build compression was enabled but web server hosting the content was misconfigured to not serve the file with HTTP Response Header "Content-Encoding: gzip" present. Check browser Console and Devtools Network tab to debug.
its the same on the sisyfuss game and the yeilding armarda one
after i researched it said its something wrong with the compression build of the game and since its not my game i cant fix it
this was great! I wish there was a tiny bit more info on what my villagers are actively working on and what each resources is. Otherwise this game would make a fun little game to enjoy while relaxing.
Fix being softlocked randomly if a projectile is not destroyed and goes off screen
Make sand better renewable - presently, wells are the only building you can build infinite of reliably (presumably you could use the projectiles making new dunes, but not for long). I think (1) if sand builds up in a building, cleaning it up should give sand, (2) destroying a projectile fully could make a new dune to harvest.
Make planned-but-not-started buildings disappear when the night starts or not have a hitbox, so you can't just spam walls that will never be built to defend, as for some reason they also block.
Ideally, you would also make it so clicking a specific building prioritizes it. Also my guys seemed to get stuck making infinite water my first playthrough for some reason (but not the second where I built tons of wells as defense)
I can't help myself ! This game is fabulous, and made me wish for just a little more. if only those dunes could propagate, like if they were pushed by the wind, I'd be on day 258! extremely addictive!
All this game needs is a way to make food without dune, maybe just a new kind of building. I've been able to play until the day 15 several time! I love it!
Please fix the bug that causes citizens not to bring sources to buildings. This is a very annoying bug, because some buildings stay stuck in progress forever. Despite this, the game is still very cool and exciting.
I got softlocked on day 3 after a droplet wasn't able to hit anything because there wasn't anything in its path. Very sad because I was having fun. Congrats on winning the gamejam!

Game appears to crash if you run out of sand dunes completely.

I would agree with the first two points. I haven't gotten far enough for the latter points.

it was great but how can I produce the sand :( it ran out so quickly and every thing need sand to produce. also Im stuck on day 9.

I loved it! It would be amazing if you could expand on the game some more (making certain mechanics more clear, etc). Otherwise, you did amazing!
Why does sand run out so quickly? Also there's a glitch where npcs will only gather water.

is use chrome [Version 132.0.6834.160 (Official Build) (64-bit)] I can play the browser version but not on the app
I love this, but please fix the infinite water collection glitch, they refuse to do anything but gather water at a certain point...

The way the difficulty was introduced gradually it was all an amazing experience

Yeah, it feels like they forget what they were building. Sometimes even if you place a new one they forget about it.
